Alas, a cutesy photo was not in the cards this morning.
It’s never the awesome when pre-school begins like this. I’m taking solace in the thought that we’re probably not the first, nor the last.
And, on a more positive note, it ended like this.

I had many preschool mornings start with tears. They always ended well. Glad to see peanut was happy on the way out the door.
Hopefully things go better for her a few days in! She is so adorable…I can’t stand it!

How heartbreaking….every Mom can relate. So glad it ended on an upnote! My high schooler still acts like this many days during the school year!! When she was in second grade, she would lock herself in the car (as I was outside it) as the bus came to pick her up at the bus stop. Yikes….it’s a long haul sometimes.
At least it ended on a happy note!

Yeah, she ended up leaving happy! At our nursery school, it’s the same thing, kids don’t want to be separated from their parents, but once they figure out how fun and cool school is, they don’t want to leave!
The after picture tells you that she really had a great time. I’m sure the before picture will not happen again. Hugs and best of luck.

Sorry Peanut had a rough start. How was it at drop-off yesterday/today? Is it getting easier? I really hope so!
it’s not how it starts but how it ends, right? isn’t that a quote or something. that smile on her face makes up for it all.
I think we’re all going through the exact same thing right now. There are the good days and the bad days, so buckle up!
